An Intimate Afternoon Wedding at Windross House
Updated: Aug 29
Three Hours, Twenty Guests
Not every wedding needs a full day to feel complete. Gabby and Kale proved that on a Wednesday afternoon in mid October, fitting a first look, a ceremony, canapes, a bridal shoot, speeches and dinner into a tight, beautifully paced three hours at Windross House Restaurant, surrounded by just twenty of their closest people.
How a Tight Timeline Still Covers Everything
The afternoon opened with a father daughter first look before guests arrived for a 4pm ceremony, followed by group photos and a round of canapes while everyone mingled. Gabby and Kale then slipped away for a private bridal location shoot, timed to make the most of the late afternoon light, before returning for a grand entrance, first dance, and a run of speeches over entree and dinner. With a short guest list and a clear schedule, the restaurant gave the day a feel that was relaxed rather than rushed, every moment from the first look to the final speech given the space it deserved.
An Intimate Restaurant Wedding of Your Own?
If an intimate wedding at Windross House Restaurant sounds like the kind of day you're picturing, Gabby and Kale's celebration is a great example of how much can be packed into a short, well planned afternoon. We'd love to hear from you if you're planning something similar.
