A Catholic Wedding Celebration at Markovina Estate
Updated: Aug 29
A Catholic Ceremony Built Around Family
Previn and Nicola were married at Markovina Estate on a Sunday in early January, with a full day of photo and video coverage that ran from early afternoon right through to the last dance. With around 100 guests, a Catholic ceremony, flower girls and a ring bearer in tow, and a reception full of speeches, cake cutting and performance dances, it was a day built around family from start to finish.
A Golden Hour Photo Session, and Performance Dances Into the Night
January weddings at Markovina Estate make the most of the long summer evenings, and this one was no exception. The ceremony took place mid-afternoon, leaving plenty of time for group photographs, a bridal party session, and couple portraits before the light began to soften toward sunset. A dedicated sunset photo session became one of the highlights of the evening, timed perfectly around golden hour on the estate's grounds. The reception carried that same warmth through the night, a buffet dinner, family table battles, cake cutting, and a run of performance dances that had guests up and celebrating well before the sparklers came out.
