A Korean-Catholic Celebration by the Water
Jaeyun and Rose were married at The Boathouse on a February afternoon, bringing together Korean and Catholic traditions for a wedding that ran from early afternoon right through to the first dance. With around 100 guests, the day had all the warmth of a big family celebration, guest arrivals, a ceremony, group photos, and a reception that carried on well into the evening.
Planning Two Traditions Into One Timeline
Blending two cultural traditions into one wedding day takes careful planning, and Jaeyun and Rose put real thought into their timeline, working through the details together with their photography and video team well ahead of time. The result was a day that flowed smoothly from the ceremony into canapes and mingling, then out to the venue's grounds for portraits before heading back inside for the reception. The Boathouse gave the day a relaxed waterside backdrop, with plenty of options both indoors and out for photos across the afternoon and into the evening, and as the light softened toward dinner the celebration shifted into speeches, cake cutting and dancing.
