A Full Day of Celebration at Markovina Estate
Updated: Aug 29
Drone Views Over the Vines
May and Azhar were married at Markovina Estate in early December, choosing the vineyard's gardens and grounds for a full day of celebration that ran from late morning right through to the evening's dancing. With drone coverage capturing the estate's rolling vines from above, the day moved through getting ready, a ceremony among the gardens, and a reception that carried well into the night.
Long December Days, Every Corner of the Estate
Markovina Estate continues to be one of West Auckland's most popular wedding venues, and it's easy to see why. The variety across its grounds, from the ceremony lawn to the wider vineyard gardens, gives a full day of coverage plenty of different backdrops to work with. For May and Azhar, that meant a day that felt properly documented from start to finish, quiet morning preparations, a garden ceremony, group portraits scattered across the estate, and a bridal party who clearly enjoyed every part of it. Early December is a lovely time to marry here too, with long daylight hours giving plenty of room for both crisp afternoon portraits and a relaxed, golden-lit reception.
