A City Wedding With No Transfers
Getting married in the heart of the city has its own particular charm, and Imogen and Pieter leaned into it fully for their Tuesday wedding at The Hotel Britomart in Auckland's CBD. Bringing together British and Dutch backgrounds, the couple kept their guest list to twenty and had every part of the day, from preparation to the reception, taken care of onsite.
How One Venue Carried the Whole Day
There's a particular ease to a wedding where nobody has to travel between locations. Groom and bride preparation both happened within the hotel, followed by a first look, family photos among the venue's decor, and a 3:30pm ceremony for guests who'd gathered to sign the book beforehand. From there the afternoon moved into group photos, canapes, and a bridal location shoot around the city before the evening's reception, everything the couple needed within easy reach, letting the whole afternoon and evening flow without a single transfer in between.
